Bringing Music to Life!

2025 will be our sixth season of bringing live outdoor music to the community.

***

We host six lawn concerts, every other Sunday in the summer. Each is preceded by a gourmet lunch. The concerts run from 3-5 pm, with seating in the natural amphitheater of our lawn at 180 Drinkwater Rd.  If you are joining us for lunch, feel free to check out the farm before the music starts.  You can also visit our farm store for fresh produce and other treats.  Sweets and beverages are also served during the concert.

Well-behaved pets, and all children, are welcome!  No charge for those under 12.

In case of inclement weather we will seek to reschedule the event.  If we are unable to do so, or if you cannot attend the alternate date, we will refund your tickets.

Our featured artist this summer is Tenessee-born, lately of the Hudson Valley, Kate Prascher.

Kate doesn’t want you to look at her. She wants you to see what she sees. She wants to know if you see it too. For her, songs are a chance to say things that don’t usually make it into polite conversation. They are letters folded up and left at your doorstep. Songwriting allows her to say the quiet parts out loud, and the loud parts quietly.

Kate’s songs are a recognition of our everyday darkness. They wade through the undercurrents of memory and draw half-portraits of characters both real and imagined. They shine a light on the complex web of our relationships. Kate played piano and sang as a child and began playing roots music after she moved to New York. Once she heard bluegrass music live for the first time, she dove headlong into playing mandolin and guitar, going to late night jam sessions, taking lessons with bluegrass maverick Michael Daves and penning her own songs.

A seasoned performer, Kare has played the Knitting Factory (New York), Jalopy Theatre (Brooklyn), LEAF Festival (Black Mountain), Club Passim (Boston) and the Ossipee Music Festival (Maine). Her voice has been described as having an “intangible vintage feel.”

We are pleased to host Kate’s Seacoast debut on August 10th, when she will be joined by fiddler Tahlia Sabat and bassist Mark Roman.

In the summer of 1994 Tony Cicoria was struck by lightning. When he came back to life he dedicated himself to classical piano and then composed the Lightning Sonata. Oliver Sacks told of Tony’s incredible gift in “A Bolt from the Blue”

World-renowned pianist, Asiya Korepanova, brings the Lightning Sonata to Crows’ Feat farm on August 11th. She is joined by Tony, as well as cellist Yoni Draiblate and vocal virtuosa Kimberly Oppelt, in music that brings electricity to life.

Lightning struck twice – first when Tony heard the music, and again when he and Asiya met.
